Forward Ramazan Karimov, as well as midfielders Sultan Sagnayev and Madi Zhakipbayev, from the squad of FC Astana received a call up, and the latter can make his debut in the Youth U-21 Team. Earlier, Madi had already been called up to the training camp of the National Youth U-21 Team in 2017 in Turkey, but at that time he did not play.
In addition to the aforementioned players, a number of players of FC Astana who are on loan this season have been called up for the national team: defenders Lev Skvortsov (Atyrau), Dinmukhamed Kashken (Kaysar), Talgat Kusyapov (Okzhetpes), midfielder Zhasulan Kaiyrkenov (Atyrau) and forward Vladislav Prokopenko (Aktobe).
Almas Kulshynbaev’s players will play two matches in September – on the 3rd in Almaty will play against Montenegro, and on the 8th they will face a match against their peers from Israel.
