Born in Almaty
Previously he performed for Kairat, Vostok, Korona (Poland).
He played for all National youth and U-21 teams of Kazakhstan.
He made his debut for the National Team of Kazakhstan in October 2014 in a match against the Czech Republic. At the moment, Abzal has played 28 matches caps for the country’s national team.
He moved to Astana in 2009. He is the youngest goalscorer in club history.
In European Competitions played 53 matches, in which he scored one goal (against Hapoel)
