Tobol vs Astana 2:0

The postponed match of the 4^th Round of the Kazakhstan Championship Tobol vs Astana took place on the field Zhas Kyran and started with several good attacks of the capital team.

Marin Tomasov shot from the box, and then Runar Mar Sigurjonsson, but in the first case the ball went wide, and in the second one – exactly on the goalkeeper.

The answer of the nominal home team was more dangerous. First, after a corner kick, Roman Murtazaev hit the post, and then, as a result of a quick attack, Murtazaev again hits the corner, but again the frame of the goal plays for FC Astana. But what Roman failed to do, another ex-player of the capital team Azat Nurgaliyev, who was ahead of the defender and sent the ball to the net – 1:0.

The Astana team tried to recoup, after Dmitriy Shomko’s cross, Dorin Rotariu headed the cross home, the goalkeeper gathered. And then, after Tigran Barseghyan’s cross, the ball scribbled across the crossbar and went wide of goal.

The second half was again played in double-edged attacks, and if Tobol managed to realize its opportunity, when Serikzhan Muzhikov just shot into the corner of Nepohodov’s net from outside the box. Then on the other half of the field Sigurjonsson could have made mark twice, but in the first episode the crossbar played for Kostanay, and in the second one – the goalkeeper saved.

As a result, the 0:2 defeat and FC Astana is preparing for the last match against FC Taraz before the pause for the national teams.
