Football club Astana has signed a contract with the defender of the national team of Kazakhstan, Yan Vorogovsky.
Vorogovskiy began his professional career in Ak Bularka Talgar, for which he made his debut in 2013. When it comes to higher professional football league, Yan started playing for Kyzylorda Kaisar.
In 2019, Yan moved from Kairat to the Belgian Championship, where he reached the top division of the European Championship as part of Beerschot. In the 2023 season, he defended the colors of the Belgian club Molenbeek. In total, he played 88 matches in Belgium, scored 5 goals and made 3 assists.
For the national team of Kazakhstan, the 26-year-old defender played 33 matches and scored 3 goals.
