Yuriy Pertsukh: “There are practically no weak opponents”
Midfielder of the National Team of Kazakhstan Yuriy Pertsukh spoke about preparations for the UEFA Nations League match against Belarus, the official website of the KFF reports:
07 sep 2020

- Yuriy, how would you rate the last match in Vilnius?

- Of course, we are glad that we managed to start successfully in the new edition of the Nations League. This is very important from a psychological point of view. We will put ourselves in mood for the next fights.

- Despite the conceded goal in the third minute, the Lithuanians played quite confidently.

- Yes, because the opponent played in front of its home stands, and this is a small, but still advantage. Lithuania is a strong team that knows what it is worth. Of course, it was difficult to play against them.

- Has the artificial turf in Vilnius become a problem for you?

- I think no. We quickly adapted to their turf.

- There is a match against Belarus soon. What are your thoughts on the upcoming match?

- There are practically no weak opponents at the national team level. We respect our opponent, but we also want to win. We are in a serious mood. The match will be difficult and very interesting.
