Antonio Rukavina was born in Belgrade (Serbia)
During his career he played for the following clubs: Bezanija (Serbia), Partizan (Serbia), Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Munich 1860 (Germany), Valladolid (Spain), Villarreal (Spain).
He has been playing in Astana since 2018.
He has extensive European Competitions experience, having played over 50 matches in tournaments under the auspices of UEFA.
In the squad of the Serbian National Team he made his debut in June 2007 in a match against the National Team of Finland, played 59 matches in total, including at two World Cups in 2010 and 2018.
